Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11020712990
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a washer that if you change the water level switch or type of wash it won't rinse or spin and has been taking a long time to cycle it does spin when you manually move the selector switch could this be the timer or what please help.

It does sound like a timer to me. But, I do want you to check something for me. Turn the washer on and ask for cold water. If the cold water comes out replace the timer. If no cold water comes out replace the water valve. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

The machine responds with cold water when selected so I will replace the timer Thank You. Bill
