Default Cold water will not go into the washer
Brand: Maytag

I replaced the timer awhile go as it went bad and the machine ran fine after. Now I have a problem with the cold water won't go into the washer. I took off the hose on the back and cleaned the screen and at the same time checked to see of the cold water was working and it was.
Could the water circuit board be going bad as if I turn the water on and off, sometimes I can get it to work but on it's own it wont.
Please give me some advise on how to fix this machine.

It sounds to me that your problem is in the fill valve.
This is the part that the hoses attach to.
Try setting your temperature to the warm/cold setting and set your timer to rinse cycle.
If you are still not getting any cold water let me know.

Default fill valve

The only button that works is the hot button. I have tried using the warm and it orginally worked but only hot came out then it stopped all together. So now we only have the hot. Is this fill valve difficult to replace?
