This clothes washer was operating perfect yesterday. It will not even light up today. There is power to it and the circuit is live. The light goes on inside but the control panel will not even light up.
Am I correct to assume that it is a control panel problem and not something simple to repair?
Are there any tests I can perform?
Is there a restart button?

It may be that the plug on the control board came loose.

Check your wiring connections.

If you have a meter you can find where you are loosing power.
