Cool Clothes very wet after last spin cycle
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LSR7233BW2
Age: More than 10 years

My washer stops and starts during the final spin cycle. About 50% of the time there is still water in the tub, and the clothes have not been sufficiently spun dry.

Could this be the lid switch...engaging sometimes and other times not engaging. Thoughts?? Or is it just a 12 year old washer, and needs to be replaced (hope not).

Check the lid switch mounting screws to see if they are tight.

Here is a link to your washer model LSR7233BW2.
