This machine is almost 10 years old. Yesterday the top part of the agitator - the parts list refers to this as the "clother mover" makes a noise when washing and appears to be slipping.
Well the 4 agitator dogs need replacing. but your clothes will wash fine till you fix it. order the new dogs,mean while use your washer till the parts come.
