Default Changing the damping strap & suspension rod
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WPSQ3120TWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

The damping straps and suspension rods on the right side of the washing machine snapped.
1) I opened the front panel, but how do I remove the top panel to get to the damping straps? [Or is there another way to get to the straps?]
2) Is it true I should replace all four straps, if one breaks?

Thanks!!

Default

replace all four

I'm not that familiar with your machine, but if it's the Profile series then there are two tek screws at the top of the front under the panel, remove lift few inches and another two are exposed. Remove then you can lift the frame and out she comes.

To remove panel you might slid a piece of thin metal into the crack, about three inches from the ends and push in to release the catch.
