Default Burning smell/not pumping out
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LAT3500AAE
Age: 5 - 10 years

Smelled like an electrical fire, washer was still making a loud ticking type of noise. Was at last spin cycle and still full of water. Both belts still on , belt that runs off small pulleys was running, other belt was not. Nothing I could visibly see wrong. Any ideas what type of repair I'm looking at?

You could just have a smoked belt. Remove front panel and observe running in spin.
If no spin, remove drive belt and turn tranny pully. If very hard to turn, you probably have something cought in the tub.
