Question BIG OR small PROBLEM?
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11092429800
Age: More than 10 years

My Washer Will Wash Normally On All Cycles, But When Knob Advances To Spin Mark On Dial, It Doesn't Do Anything. Doesn't Spin, Doesn't Drain And Is Completely Quiet. And It Does This On All Cycles. This Happened Several Times In The Past Week Between Normal Loads. (sometimes It Did This And Sometimes It Didn't). But Now Whatever Part This Is Has Stopped Working Completely. My Grandson Has Slammed Down The Lid Several Times In The Past 2 Wks. What Might Be The Problem?

It sounds like the lid switch is broken.

The washer will not drain or spin if it is not working.

Here is a link to a list of parts for your washer model 11092429800.

Here is the lid switch.
