I am replacing the belt on this washer. I removed the motor/pump assembly and removed the 3 screws that hold the pump to the motor but cannot pull them apart. Does the pump have some sort of internal screw that holds it to the motor shaft, or perhaps is the pump compressed to the shaft? Should they separate easily and maybe over time the pump has sort of corroded itself to the shaft? Please help; the clothes are piling up.

The pumps on these washer seize to the shaft.

You will have to pry the pump off of the motor shaft.

Use penetrating fluid and let it set for awhile.
