Default Belt burning rubber
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TPX24PPBABB
Age: 1 - 4 years

I'm actually not sure how old this washer is, but it's white and looks newer, not old and dated. It is a stackable washer dryer, and I inherited this from an aquaintance. When I run the wash, it burned through the rubber belt in one cycle and it smoked up my entire house. I had the neighbor change the belt, and it did it to the second one as well. The motor runs, but I and he have NO idea what it could be.
THANKS A MILLION!

Pull the front panel off and remove the belt, Turn the tranny pully one way, then another. One way agitate, the other way spin. If it locks up in spin you probably have something cought in the tub. Go to Appliance repairs, Appliancehelp, Appliances, repairs to dryers washers dishwashers fridges repairs microwaves ge maytag kenmore frigidaire westinghouse inglis, appliance how to take apart information, purchasing an appliance help, model number help, for take apart directions.
