Brand: Maytag
Model Number: mhw2000aww
Age: 5 - 10 years

hi,
washer was making the grinding noises(bearings).finally died.do i have to get the spinner support and seal kit or are there bearings etc. i can use.that assembly is 115.00,need that center bearing--i think?
any help would be appreciated.

If it is the bearings that you need it could be worse than just the support and seal kit.

The tub support is number three on the picture of the spinner assembly and outer tub cover.

It could be that you also need the outer tub Assembly with the bearing in it.

On the picture of the outer tub it is item number one. This includes the bearing that the tub support goes through.
