Default Barely agitates, then start button flashes - doesn't change cycle
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LWH0050PQ 2
Age: 1 - 4 years

The machine is barely 3 years old.
It agitated a little, and then the start button started flashing again. It did not drain or spin.

Here is what I tried:
- Pressing the start button again - the machine agitated again, and then the start button started flashing again.
- Turned off the power. When I turned it on again, it was still stuck on wash, and the start button was flashing.
- Turned off power and changed cycle to spin. Turned machine back on. It was still stuck on Wash and the start button was still flashing.
- Turned off power and changed cycle to "rinse". Turned back on. Same thing as above.
- Took out the filter (and flooded laundry room in the process), cleaned it, and put it back in. Repeated steps above. No change.

If anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix it, or even how to get the machine to drain without having to drain manually all over the floor, I would appreciate it!

Thank you!

Can you please verify your model number?

Is this the Duet or the HE?
