I am having the same problem my model # MAH3000AWW serial# 18100711UB, I was told it is a $500.00 repair job also seen here looking for it now were a member preyed the old bearing out and replaced it for $40 some odd $$,waiting for an answer.

The bearing and seal are only sold with the tub assembly.
There are place that sell bearing that may be able to supply one that will fit.
Then there is a seal also that will have to be replaced.
