Default Amana washing machine timer
Brand: Amana
Model Number: lwa05aw
Age: More than 10 years

Does anyone know if it's common for amana washing machine timers to go bad? after I already bought a timer for my dryer I found out on here that it's not a common thing for those to go bad, so I was wondering how common is it for one on a washer to go out. My washing machine just hums when I pull the main switch. I seem to have power everywhere that I should but I guess I'm overlooking something. Anyone have any ideas on what I should check. Thanks for any help.

If you hear a hum, when you hit your timer it could be the motor, or something is stuck in your pump. You can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

I've tried a motor and that's not it. And the pump moves freely
