 Amana Error Code Brand: Amana Model Number: LW9203L2 Age: More than 10 years
I have an Amana washer that keeps giving me an 6P error code. also the motor trys to spin and has a loud buzz and the thermal kicks in and shuts down the washer and a puff of smoke comes out of the motor. I replaced the belt ( it was bad and the pump (had to brake it to get the belt off). The control board was replaced @ 8 years ago Just after the warrenty wore out go figure!!! I do want to spend to much more money on this washer but it is in really awsome shape other than this. It wont compete a cycle. Because I have to unplug the washer to clear the 6P error code what are the error codes for this washer and why dont the put them on the washer. I also ran the dianogistics and I get a beep on 80 85 90 and 95. It also tells me that the lights should be on at every ther cycle and which ones it should be on but it is just the opposite of the sheet. kind of confused??? I can find a motor for about $150 on line do you think it is worth it. |
