Question Agitator removal
Brand: Amana
Model Number: LWA50AW
Age: 5 - 10 years

As Per The Diagram On Your Web Site My Agitator Sits On A Drive Bell.from Looking At Other Threads And Seen That Some Agitators On Drive Bells Should Just Pull Off.mine Wont Seem To Come Off And I Feel Like Mine Is Going To Break When I Pull On It.in The Other Threads They Were Speaking Of Difernt Brands Any Help Would Be Apreciated.thanks In Advance.

The agitator snaps down over the drive bell.

To remove the agitator make sure you place your hands where the veins are.

This is the strongest area on the agitator.

I have one of these that the agitator also won't come off.
My machine is leaking out of the bottom where the transmission shaft enters the tub.
How big /expensive of a repair is this?

Ok, Now I got the agitator off. Just had to pull up and rock it back and forth a bit and it popped right off.
Now for the rest of the task!
