Agitator problems
Brand:
KitchenAid
Age:
5 - 10 years
in wash mode the agitator does not reverse direction? at which time the washer makes a ratching niose. At the end of the wash and spin cycle the clothes are wrapped tightly around the agitator.

Can you please supply your model number?
Is the drum turning when the agitator turning?
The model number can be found under the lid of the washer.
