my ge washer eaw2000a0ww will wash the clothes but will not spin and will not spin on rinse cycle either and when it does it is very slow . it just hums .please help ps how do i get the front cover off to check this stuff

It seems to me that if the washer will not spin unless the water is out. Then you may want to check your pump to make sure it is working

Sounds like your pump is either clogged or not working.

a lot of times a sock or something will get sucked into the pump. As for the humm hopefully the motor isn't shot

To remove the front panel of the washer use a putty knife to release the clips that are between the top and the panel.

Can you please verify your model number?

It should be on a tag on the top of the control panel with the serial number.
