My admiral washer will not spin during the first spin cycle, it just sits there and wont run again until it times into the rinse cycle, can someone please help.

Try the washer in a different cycle.

If it will not spin in any cycle check the lid switch.

Does the water drain?

Can you please verify your model number?

It should be on a tag with the serial number.
