Unhappy Admiral Washer making noise
Brand: Admiral
Model Number: LNC6762B71
Age: 1 - 4 years

We have an Admiral Capacity Plus which we have had for just 3 years. We have been having problems for about a year now with the washer not spinning out, or not spinning out completely. Some times I have to spin a load out an additional time or 2 before it works correctly. Sometimes it will spin out fine on the first go round. Tonight the washer starting making a terrible noise that my husband describes as a loud grinding noise. He's thinking maybe a bearing problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can you determine where the noise is coming from?

Is it at the bottom of the washer?

The sound does seem to come from the bottom of the washer. My husband said it seems to be in the tub part. He spun the bearings on the pump and the motor and they appear to be fine.
