Default Admiral washer- agitator, shaft or thingymagiggy??
Brand: Admiral
Model Number: lnc6762b71

Okay, I dont know what it is called!
The sleeve that the softener cup is attached to that goes over the post that agitates the water

Well, It rises up as the water rises so it is not agitating the clothes very well. It locks in the groves and all is fine on the spin cycle. But it raises up just enough from the base that it doesnt engage the base to do its job.

Okay, so if I could see a diagram, I could figure out what it is called and possibly order a part. Can anyone help me?

Exclamation

okay, sorry, another question....

I looked at the pics on that link. The "auger agitator post assembly" does it have a seperate sleeve inside it?? That is what is seperating. So, I dont know if I shou;d buy that assembly or there is another part. The diagram looks like it is all one but I can't tell on the actual picture of the assembly.
