Default Access to Replace Belt
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: fws223rfs1
Age: 5 - 10 years

I am trying to replace the drive belt on a frigidaire top loading washer(Model FWS223RFS1). What is the trick to accessing the the belt? Unlike the old open models, the bottom of this washer has a metal cage. Your help would be most appreciated.

The front of your cabinet comes off to gain access to the inside. A combination of spring clips and screw hold it on . Look for the screws near the bottom of front panel and spring clips you can pry out. Here is a diagram that may help you. Frigidaire FWS223RFS1 Parts List
