Default 4- or 5-cycle timer?
Brand: Amana
Model Number: LW3403W
Age: More than 10 years

I need to replace the timer on this washing machine. On the parts available for this model there is a 4-cycle timer and a 5-cycle timer. What exactly does the cycle refer to, and how do I know which one to purchase?

The number of cycles is the options you have re:
Regular
Permanent Press
Delicate
Extra Rinse
Soak Prewash

Could not find a part number for a timer on PartSelect
Another site I checked said the 5 cycle timer was no longer available
