Default 1st gen Neptune/ cycle stuck!
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: neptune
Age: 5 - 10 years

OK, I have a 1st generation Neptune front loader.. I have read many threads on this forum, but none addresses my issue.. so her we go..
Mama says to me " washer dont work.. Fix it!!"

OK the washer JUST agitates, no rinse, no wash, same back and forth motion..

On the drain setting, All I hear is a hum... but does not pump out,
While on drain setting same thing, motor on.... then motor off.. just like if it was in washing cycle, but no fill. no drain, no rinse just agitiation..

HELP!!

Check the pump to see if the motor for it is actually running.

If it is running check the washer drain for blockage.

Can you please supply your model number?

It should be on the door.

Also the pumping motor DOES NOT spin but hums.... or SOMETHING is humming... but no running motors. R11 and Q6 are fine..
I could BARLEY blow through the outlet hose, I mean Dizzy Gliespe cheeks!!
I am beginning to feel that the pump motor is stuck or clogged...

This had happened a few weeks back but went away after the machine "rested"...

If there is a lot of water in the washer or the pump is plugged it would be hard to blow through.

If the motor is humming there is likely something in the pump not allowing it to turn.

Here is a link to your washer model mah3000aww.

If it happened before the pump may be seizing up.
