Arrow Yet another icemaker problem
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ed5fhexmsoo
Age: 5 - 10 years

Heres ther problem.
icemaker quit all together. took it a part, defrost, back together. starts its cycle. by the time the ice freezes the arm gets frozen in the ice and ice will not come out of the tray.
take two
took apart, back together. Starts cycle this time arm just barely gets frozen in ice and starts to push ice out of tray. ice gets about half way out of tray and freezes to the side of it on the way out.

instead of just letting it melt i try to break the ice off and the arm turns out to be more frozen in the ice then i thought. i accidentaly break the tabs off that hold the "do not turn manually" gear to, i assume the gear connects directly to the arm but diagrams were not clear. so i need some parts. both for what i broke and what wasnt working in the first place. Any help?
