I have a whrilpool model edo2lhaxmb00 ,I just paid for a service call ,start device went out (relay for compressor) I ordered that part .
also my ice maker does not work ,If I unplug it and restart it sometimes it will work for a day or two but no longer then that. The water works just fine ,water is in the tray for ice. the guy that was here said he would bet it was the motor modular,it all comes as one piece. I need help finding /replaceing part.This refrigerator is only 2 years old and ice maker has had problems for the start.water in door works fine its just the ice maker. for your interest the service call was $55.00 He wanted $257.00 to replace start device. I ordered from here today for $42.75 including shipping. I Only wish I would of known ,the service call would have paid for part.

When the ice maker stops working is there no water coming in or is the ice cubes forming but not dumping out?

Here is a link on how to test your ice maker.

Please check your model number for your fridge as I can not locate on our database.

The model number is found in the fridge section on a tag with the serial number.
