My Whirlpool Fridge won’t dispense ice or water from the front door. Dispense area light works fine. The ice maker works fine. I pulled off the front panel. The wires look fine and connected. I replaced the micro switch, didn’t fix it. The door light switch turns the inside light on and off. Is there a separate safety switch? Help needed and appreciated.

It is likely the control board in the freezer door.

Hi, Thanks for the reply and web link, but in looking at the diagrams I'm unable to locate the control board in the freezer door? I looked at the dispense and freezer diagram. Is it in the dispense area or inside the casing? Sorry but Thanks!

The control board is the panel that you press to select your ice and water.

You have to remove the face plate to access it.
