Exclamation Whirlpool leak at elbow at bottom front door
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GS6NBE
Age: 1 - 4 years

Cannot find the part number in my owners manual and no part is illustrated. Just behind the removable grill at the bottom of the fridg at the far left is a white elbow with the water line going in and out with blue rings holding in the water line. Every time water is dispensed in the door water dispenser water shoots out of the top of the water line at the elbow. What is this elbow called and what is its part number. How do you get the blue rings off. I tried prying up with a flat head screwdriver but only stabbed my thumb over and over. Help!!

Those are quick release connections. Slide the washer and hold while pulling the water line out. You can buy the water line at an appliance parts store. You can also get a standard junction there.
