Default Whirlpool Housing Dispenser
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ID5GFGXRQ00
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a problem with my ice dispenser door in the front freezer door. The pin that holds the flapper door closed has broken away from the molded plastic holder in the Housing Dispenser. The housing despenser is put on with 4 screws and it is a molded plastic peice with some brackets and snaps molded into the housing.

After tallking with about 5 people from Whirlpool about ordeering the Housing Dispenser they told me that I would have to order the cpmplete door for $500 then the last call I made I was told that I could order the complete Housing Dispenser with all the controls, the ice parts and the water parts incl for $399.

Does anyone know where I can get just the Housing Dispenser part? Whiropool would not give me the name of the Mfg that made their doors.

Thanks in advance
