HELP... Our fridge has stopped dispensing water. I have replaced the water filter but it still does not work.

I think the plate covering the Ice and Water dispenser comes off and I think I will be able to see what the problem is from inside there but I do not know how to take it off. I am afraid to break it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First check to see if you're getting water to the bottom of the freezer door. Disconnect the water line under the door and try the water dispenser. If water comes out where you took it apart then your line is frozen in the door. If It doesn't come out there check it the same way at the water inlet valve on the back of the unit. If it is frozen try a hairdryer on the line at the dispenser for about 5 minutes.

If you need to take the cover off for access, gently pry it off a little at a time round and round. Don't be in a hurry.
