I stabbed something and gas like substance came out. I am assuming it was freon.

Can this be fixed?

If you poked a hole in the evaporator it can be fixed by replacing the evaporator.

This will have to be done by a technician.

Yes it would have been Freon.

A very costly repair here. I would not pusue this repair, fridge just not worth it.
