What type of wire is the best for splicing?

Default What type of wire is the best for splicing?
I have the same problem with my Kitchenaid and from what I have read, splicing seems to be the way to go for a quick fix. I was wondering what was the best type of wire to use to do the splicing?

You would have to use the same gage wire as used in the harness.

The gage of the wire is likely 16 or 18 multi strand wire.
