Saw a puddle on the floor, the Dispenser Drip Tray full, then saw the dispenser dripping (slowly). I pushed in the Dispenser Lever, and the water hasn't stopped flowing since. I basically had to run downstairs to turn off the supply. It appears the lever or the valve is sticking (or stuck). Is this fixable? Please advise.

I searched and saw something similar but it was ice flow and filter associated. I didn't see it resolved (awaiting another answer) as the thread seems to have stopped in April.

There are a few thing this could be.

It could be the switch in the door is sticking.

It could be the water valve sticking.

It could be the water pressure to the fridge is low and not forcing the valve to close.
