Default Water valve installation
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GTS18DCPDRBB
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a new water valve (p/n: WR57X10033) for the ice maker on this fridge. I was not the person who removed the part, and it didn't come with installation instructions. It was simple enough to figure out how to connect the tubes and connecter, however there are no markings on the elecrtical connecter showing which way it is to be connected. If I make a guess at it, I would have a 50% chance of getting it right (or wrong). Does it matter? In other words, can it be connected up-side-down? I need to know because it is a new part and I don't want to guess and be wrong and fry it. And I have searched and searched and can't find a diagram or picture or installation instructions anywhere on the internet. It's my landlord's fridge, so I really need to get this right. I hope you can help me!
Thanks,
Rich

Default

It does not matter which way the valve is installed it will work either way.
