Default Water valve grief
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: tfxw24rll
Age: 5 - 10 years

Ordered new dual inlet water valve, same part number as old one. New one has quick disconnect female water outlets. Old one has threaded. Need a quick disconnect kit from old style to new. Customer service said you had a kit but did not email me the part number so I could order. Please, let me know what I need to do to get the ball moving. Thx, Matt

The parts you are in the new valve.

This is what you have to do.

You have to cut the retaining nuts off existing plastic water lines and gently push them into the new valve.

If you ever have to remove the lines from the valve just depress the ring that the tube slides into.

Thanks for the info, I do not have the male ends. They did not come with the new water valve. I need the male ends so I can install the new style water valve.
Thx, Matt
