I have a water valve (p/n: WR57X10033) for my ice maker. I forgot to notice which water line goes where. One of the water line connections is different than the male connectors that were on the original one. which one goes where?

On the new valve the end with the threads is for the house supply line.

The other one is what is call a quick disconnect.

The line that goes to the ice maker is what goes in it.

You will have to end off the line and remove the nut.

Make sure it is a clean cut and slide the hose in as far as it will go.
