Default Water thru door, but no ice
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: tfx25jrydww
Age: 5 - 10 years

the water dispenses thru the door, but the ice, cubed or crushed only comes out if you wiggle the switch while pressing glass against the pad.

You can remove the molding around the dispenser by gently prying it off and access the screws to access the switch. See if something is loose or maybe the switch is bad. Here's a diagram and parts list. GE TFX25JRYDWW Parts List

In the dispenser opening there are two chrome switches. The one on the right turns the light on and off and the one on the left switches between water, cubed and crushed ice. This is the one I can wiggle and make the ice come out. Does that mean I need the circuit board instead ?
