Default Water pooling inside refrigerator
Brand: Admiral
Model Number: HMG 211770
Age: 5 - 10 years

Water is pooling on bottom of fridge under veggie drawers after defrost cycle. The freezer is on top with its own door, fridge on bottom with its own door. I have removed the icemaker, and flushed the drain behind the panel in freezer compartment with warm water. Water runs through without obstruction into the tray at the bottom of fridge, yet after several hours running again, water begins pooling again. What else can I do? Thanks, D

The water must not be running out fast enough. It may be partially blocked at the lower end in the pan. Try blowing it out.

On your advice, I removed the rear freezer panel and poured water down the drain. It runs fast & clear, no obstructions. However, after I put it back together and looked in the fridge compartment, I noticed a thin thread of water coming down the rear of the fridge, originating behind the unit on the ceiling of the fridge compartment. There is the source of the water but why, and how do I get that off to look behind it? Or could it be something integral to that unit? Thanks, DonD1
