Cool Water pooling in bottom of freezer
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ED5RHEXMQOO
Age: 1 - 4 years

Inside the freezer section water frome somewhere pools in the bottom of the freezer and obvioulsy freezes. It builds up to quite a lot and eventually leaks onto the floor. Ive taken everything out and chopped, removed all the ice and can't seem to find where it is coming from. It has an ice maker and ice/water in the door. I have repaired my dishwasher and other household items but can't figure out what is going on here.
Any help will be appriciated.
Mark

Default defrost drain tube clogged

sound like your defrost drain tube is plugged up, the water is probably coming from the evaporator when your unit goes into defrost. it does take a while to build up before you see water coming out the front of your fridge, so get the ice off the bottom of the freezer and then puor HOT water down the drain hole, you might need to get a large zip tie or something that u can use to unclog the drain tube, nothing with sharp edge cause u dont want to make a hole in the drain tube u just want to remove the clog. GOOD LUCK
