This unit is about 3 1/2 years old.

Water comes out of the front dispenser just fine, but no water is making it up to the ice maker.

If I press the button for ice, the motor which moves the ice rotates fine, and the flap will open. But there is no water flowing into the ice cube trays.

Any idea what the problem could be? Thanks!

try swapping the wires which plug into the solenoid at the inlet valve.

This way the water dispenser should send water to the ice maker. And you'll know the water valve is working and the line is clear. It's an ice maker problem if this works.
