Default Water line inside fridge? What is it?
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: frs6hr4h
Age: Less than 1 year

Hello!

Just bought a Frigidaire side by side and noticed something odd. It has a water filter in the upper back right of the fridge but there is a clear water line that comes out of it, runs down behind a piece of trim and then is coiled up and tied with zip ties behind the crisper. Can someone tell me what/why this is?

Thanks a bunch.

This is the new age water tank. Cheap, and adds more profit to the manufacture. That is where the water sits, and gets refrigerated, so when you ask for cold water. There it is. Oops there is!!.. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

New age water tank. Good stuff! Thanks for letting me know. The manual said nothing about it and I had no idea.

I see you're a Missourian who canoes. Ever hear of Eminence? Been there dozens of times over the years for some good canoing and relaxation.

Thanks again for the help.

Eminence, You mean Jacks Fork, and the Current River, you bet, many times. You need to go to the Buffalo River, out of Yellville Arkansas, it is the best of the best. If you ever need me you can reach me at my website at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
