Question Water line feed keeps leaking
Brand: Amana
Age: 5 - 10 years

The water line that connects to our side-by-side frig keeps leaking where the plastic water line connects to the frig. I keep changing the little plastic tip insert at the end of the line, but after a couple of weeks it leaks from the brass nut that threads on to connect the water line to the frig. The frig is actually almost ten yrs lod and it's the first problem we've had. I'm completely baffled. Pls help. Thx much.

Maybe all plastic fittings will seal better. Look for kit at hardware store or appliance parts store.

OK, I'll try it although I'm a little skeptical that the brass nut all of a sudden is the problem. I was wondering if something like back pressure building up from the frig was the problem - bear with me. As I said initially, I'm quite baffled. Thx much woodchuck.
