Angry Water leaks on the frigidaire
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: frs26hf5ab5
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a series of problem some of which I believe are related.

1) the water is dripping from the water valve. After dispensing water 2-4 oz of water drips out of the line. This was happening for about a month when problem 2 appeared.

2) I believe the water also drips into the icemaker after ice is made. The water chute is freezing solid with water causing the icemaker to overflow on the next cycle. This fills the freezer with ice.

3) I suspected a leak in a line after the filter which is allowing the water to drain from the lines. Possibly a bad o ring where the filter attaches. However the filter is jammed in place and will not release.

4) I turned off the icemaker to stop the freezing waterfalls from forming. that worked.

5) a large amount of water began to show up on the floor ( 8 -16 oz) . Believing the water line was leaking more, I shut off the water to the fridge. Though no water comes out of the water dispenser any more, I continue to have water on the floor. It appears to run out all at once and seems to come from the front right corner of the cabinet - around the hinge mount. . This must be condensation ( as the water is shut off) but only began after I had the other leakage problems.

6) Condensation is also dripping from the icemaker door this flows under the tray and into the door panel. the door panel is now rusting and the paint is peeling.

any thoughts?

Pull freezer back panel and check the drain. It is probably frozen. I use a turkey baster and hot water to thaw it out.
