Default Water leaking
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: frt1818p5a
Age: 5 - 10 years

I got a refrigerator (frigidaire) frt18p5a that is leaking water at the back of the control panel in the refrigerator.

there is two openning, one is for the cool air and one for the water droping. my problem is the water leak from the cool air section ?????

what should i do ?

The solution that I have been using is to use a piece of refrigeration putty (very similar to plasticine) and you roll it into a snake like piece. Then you take off the control panel and between the 2 openings you stick the piece on. So the putty goes on the plastic piece right where the styrofoam starts, that should solve your problem

do you think that i can use silicone ?

if no.. where can i buy this putty ?

It might work, although it'd make it harder to get off in the future. I've found it at refrigeration supply stores
