Red face Water laying in bottom under drawers
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: Unknown
Age: More than 10 years

I have just noticed water laying in the bottom of my old refrigerator under the vegetable drawers. We just vacuumed out the coils in the bottom a couple weeks ago and it has started since then. What is the trouble? This is old and does not have an icemaker. I don't think they were invented when we bought this one.

It sounds like the drain for the defrost water is blocked.

There should be a little cup in the center of the fridge near the top of the fridge section.

Remove the cup and clean it.

Your model number can be found on a tag behind the kick plate with the serial number.
