Angry Water keeps dispensing after releasing the button.
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS20ZRGW0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Well I am happy to say I have ICE ,Water and lights working in my side by side again. (Was a problem with one of the wire splices when we moved it from the garage to the kitchen. But there is two strange problems .

1. Water keeps dispensing even after we stop pressing the button.
Example: Press water buttone for 3 seconds let go. Water will continue to dispense slower and slower then drips and stops after about 6 to 10 seconds .

2. Three times a day I find a puddle on the floor under the Freezer door. I cant seem to figure out where its coming from.

Any help would be appreciated.

What type of shut off did you us on your supply line?

Is the water pressure at the fridge 20 psi or more?

The water valve on the fridge is closed with water pressure so if it is not 20 psi or more it will leak.

If the line you used is an old line there may have been dirt in the line and now it is in the valve and holding it open.

Is there water in the bottom of the freezer?

Here is a link to your fridge model FRS20ZRGW0.
