How do I change the water supply hosing in the refrigerator?

The problem we are having is that the water and ice have a strong sulfur odor and taste. Our water supply is fine (we never taste sulfur in the tap water). We put a filter between the copper water supply tubing and the water supply tubing that goes into the fridge. I ran 5 gallons of water through the filter last time I changed it and ran another gallon through the water dispenser in the door. But, if the water is not used for a few days, it comes out nasty.

My theory is that something started growing in the tubing when we moved to Colorado from New Mexico. The fridge was in storage for three to four weeks.

Any thoughts?

The water tank is located behind the crisper's in the fridge section.

Take the crisper out and have a look at the water tank.

It is possible that you have algae in the tank.

Her is a link to your fridge model TFX25NRDA.
