Question Water in fridge
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.8750612
Age: More than 10 years

All of a sudden we are getting water in the bottom of our refrigerator. We can't tell where it could be coming from. We have an ice maker in the freezer, but here is no leaks around it that we can see. There appears to be ice around the fan area of the fridge section. We can't find any "running" water and there is no drain hole for water to drain from so there is no backed up drain. Any ideas?

Unfortunately I do not have a pictorial break down of your fridge.

Is your fridge a side by side?

Look in the fresh food section of the fridge at the back.

If your controls are mounted there then you will have to drop them down.

Then you will be able to see the drain cup. It is a square shaped cup that is pushed in to the back of the fridge. Sometimes it is held in with a screw.

It is possible that this is blocked.

Is the icemaker producing new ice? I had a similar issue, when the ice tube was clogged w ice and the fresh water was overflowing and leaking into the base of freezer.
