Question Water in Freezer Bottom
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JRSDE228
Age: 5 - 10 years

Ice is forming on the bottom level of the freezer, and eventually runs on to the floor. I have melted the ice and cleaned it out but then it builds up again. Any ideas on what could be causing the water/ice build-up?

It sound like the drain is plugged.

Take the back panel in the freezer out and clean the drain trough.

Then run a stiff but flexible wire down the hole.

Take a small glass of water and dump in the trough to make sure it drain in the pan under the fridge.

Here is a link to your fridge model JRSDE228.
