Default Water-flow for ice-maker
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TBX22RF
Age: More than 10 years

The ice-maker does make ice. However the water-valve stays open to long that allows the water to over-flow. The 'maker' has a 'cam' that revolves in a 'cycle'. In that cam there is an adjustable set-screw.
What is the procedure to adjust the timing that opens and closes the water valve? Is that set-screw involved? The 'points' that 'roll' with the cam is also adjustable indicating a space variation. I can't find any repair source that shows the back of the maker where those parts are shown or how to adjust. Sure could use a detailed schematic with directions.
MUCH OBLIGED, Mr. Lentz

If this problem has just started and nothing was change in the fridge it is likely a water pressure problem or valve problem and no the ice maker.

Water pressure close the valve on the back of the fridge so if the shut off valve in the water line is a saddle type and is plug and restricting the water flow this can happen.

Here is the only breakdown of your fridge model TBX22RF that is available.
